brent and i running along. funny thing about this event. nice scenery for about 5 miles. then you quit noticing it. after that all you see is pavement and i can attest it pretty much looks the same everywhere.

rian had an unfortunate incident where his luggage went flagstaff and he went to phoenix. to make a long story short, we were unable to get his luggage before race day so he was running with borrowed or walmart purchased gear.
