in seward we caught one of the last boat tours of the season. it felt very touristy but it was worth money. it was a very sunny day out but incredibly windy so it was a rough ride.

as you might imagine we saw plenty of wildlife on the tour. here are some sea lions sunning themselves.

the boat tour went around kenia national park which did not disappoint.

the tour takes you right up a glacier.

ok ok.. you get the picture. we were all there.

the entire boat tour lasted 6 hours so i was pretty much ready by the time we started heading back.

later that evening we drove to a place where you can take a very short hike to another glacier. it is weird standing close to one because you feel breeze it creates. notice the guys down by the glacier for size perspective. so as you can see, global warming still has some work to do.

we woke up early sunday morning and headed back to anchorage in time for meeting. after meeting we did a little sight seeing in anchorage before flying home. it was a great vacation and justin and i are hoping to go back for some backpacking up there.
